Williams by decision. Martinez is moving up in weight and Williams is already comfortable at the weight. And I just think Williams size and output will be to much for Martinez with his low hand slick style. Should be close early but after the 6th round I think Paul takes over.

    8-4 Williams.

I think Williams wins this one easily. He will stop Martinez late in the fight and it won't be a close fight at all.

Williams WIDE UD.....Williams activity will be the difference...

I see Martinez on the defensive all night throwing very little to make a difference...

Williams took this fight because he knew that Martinez did not have time to train. Williams's judges will do a job on Martinez.

I'm thinking that Williams will as some point hurt Martinez which will be key if he is to win.

Martinez isn't exactly an open target due to his exceptional movement however if/when he drops his hands, as he usually does, Paul will make him pay.

However if Martinez fights a disciplined fight behind a solid guard and if he prudently uses his movement then I can actually envision him pulling out an upset on the cards.

Very interesting match-up. I think Martinez has a very good chance of an upset. I'll have to watch them both again to be sure. I'll have my final take on it as the fight closes in.

you can blame your white hero kelly pavlik for that, it happens when you pull out at the last minute forcing your opponent to bust his ass off in training for nothing. williams couldve got anyone as a last minute replacement, but being the ballzy fighter he is he picked a very dangerous fighter in martinez. but hey, it happens when you have "pull-out pavlik" as your next opponent.

If Williams doesnt stray from the game plan (like in Quintana I) he will out work this guy, just like he does everybody else. When this guy is on his game, the amount of slick punches coming down the line is too much for a smaller man to handle.

I say Williams by a late round KO

Martinez' style is such that he has to train very hard, which he can't do. No need to even watch this fight.
