I think Sauerland still has an option on Bute. So Larsen-Bute may still be on the cards.

I was told that whole "Sauerland option" thing has been settled.

What about a prospect like Daniel Jacobs. Too green right?

His promoters wouldn't let him near Bute and for good reason.

Mundine would be a good opponent for Bute.

bute can't fight top-notch comp at 175 w/o a tune-up. dawson is only moving up in weight. too many good opportunities at 168 anyway. but, I can't see a top US name other than pavlik, and that ain't happening.

Allan Green would be my first choice. Dawson is basically a cruiserweight.

My second choice would be the winner of the Stieglitz v Miranda WBO fight. Unification fight. But it will be a low profile fight if Stieglitz wins because he is not popular in the USA. Miranda has grown a solid fan base. He has been many time on US TV.

Pavlik should stay at 160 as long as he can make the weight without problems. He does not look good at a bigger weight. (Taylor 2 and Hopkins)

True, Dawson will be CW in a couple of years - and will definitely try his luck at HW at some time.

I don't think he can make 168 any more - and him fighting a SMW fighter at a higher weight doesn't really make a lot of sense.

Funny, literally hundreds of people here were talking about how Bika should have been included in the Super Six, but now not a single post about how Bute should fight Bika next? I think it would be a pretty good fight...

Green, look like the only option for Bute.
