I do like Bute though, we can't let these damn Yanks get too far ahead of themselves  168 is supposed to be a Euro stranglehold  In all seriousness, I do believe he can prove himself against the best. Hopefully the Pavlik rumours are true, would be a good fight for both, the styles would gel really well and I could see ways for both to win.
?? Unbeaten WBC champ at #5 ??? When Ward won his belt last time out without previously doing anything, Bute beating Andrade twice once convincingly, Kessler having been beat twice (ableit by decent oppo) and Abraham having 2 fights at the weight and only one being a meaningful one in all honesty. This site winds me up so much at times
Just because he is WBC champ does not mean he deserves an higher status than people who are fighting better fighters and having better careers. Abraham was god at middle and looked great last time out. Kessler lost against the only two elite fighters he faced but that still puts him above Bute because Bute has not done anything...OMG he has a belt...who did he win it against...who has he defended against...who has he avoided...why is he not in super 6?
He looked great against a guy that Froch knocked cold (ableit whilst being outpointed) Kessler hasn't been beat by two elite fighters. Calzaghe was elite but Ward was untested. Is it the in thing to do now on this forum to suggest that belts mean ABSOLUTELY **** ALL ? I know there is problems with the sanctioning bodies but still come on, he's still a very credible world champion and deserves to be higher than #5 AT THE MOMENT and to suggest otherwise is very very stupid
I dont know if their is a forum for your kind but if there is take Farmboxer and others who can use their imagination to think up such wonderful nicknames and please refrain from ever leaving it - EVER
