I would like to see this fight. Hopkins would be a more formidable opponent than Johnny Ruiz and he has always dared to be great. I know everyone thinks Hopkins would get KO'd but David Haye isn't Tyson or Holyfield. I would give B-hop a small chance.

Personally I would rather see him fight Adamek but a Haye fight is intruging as well.

Let's get it on! December 2010 :good

If beats Roy then Haye. Top 20 ATG :happy

I highly doubt hopkins could carry enough pop to heavy to trouble even the suspect chinned haye and even then he really hasn't that bad of a chin it does get exaggerated about haye. And there is no way he can take a hayemaker in my opinion going from cruiser to heavy is one thing going from middleweight to heavy is impossible unless you fight a crappy heavyweight like ruiz.

Haye would decimate B-Hop in a way that hasn't happened before. literally it would end his old ass career.

I like Hopkins, but I think he'd regret fighting Haye at this age. We all decline sooner or later. I doubt he's serious anyway.

Theres no way this will happen, Hopkins would get flattened and he knows it.

Hes just trying to entertain the idea that he could fight Haye, as he wants to try to get the idea into peoples heads that he could do what Jones did. No way is this serious.

Of course he's serious. And he'll claim Haye is ducking him when Haye asks for more than minus seventy percent of the purse...

Haye's lone loss comes to an over the hill super middleweight...B-Hop is a GREAT over the hill light heavyweight. Haye is fast, but only by big man standards. He is helluva powerful though. Hopkins is crafty and durable.
As a fan of both B-Hop and Haye, I would not mind seeing this fight.

The skill-level of the heavyweight division isn't that high as people think.
Majority of the division consists of fat non-conditioned guys with swinging/looping punches only as arsenal. The top 10 heavyweights combined know even less about the science than Hopkins alone. The top 2 rely on their height more than on their skills (Take a few inches of Klitschko's height and you got a very beatable fighter).
So yeah, Hopkins can make ripples even at heavyweight. I'd take Hopkins WUD over Ruiz or Valuev any day (who are former-champions and in the top10 right now. Now do you see the state of the division?).

I posted a thread months ago saying that BHop should fight Haye. I guess Bhop agreed once Haye won the title. Haye is over rated and IMO Bhop would have a good shot at a heavywieght title.
