    Let it go Walk, lets enjoy Martinez vs the punisher, I think it is going to be one of the better fights of this year, dont think we will be dissapointed.

    The only way Pavlik can fully redeem himself is challenging Williams after their fights.

    Not really... Check my history... None of my threads really go in depth about how bad pavlik is... I just think williams can win...

    I call pav a 1 dimensional fighter but everyone gets offended by it... Why I don't know?

    Nothing wrong with being one dimensional... It got him really far... Dwight howard is one dimensional (alll he can do is dunk) and he is still one of the best players in the nba...
    Manny ramierez is a one dimensional baseball player... All he is good for is big hitting but he is still a highly valued player

    Seems strange how just a week and some change after canceling the Williams fight they're taking on a no named fighter ... with no HBO date and another bull**** TopRank PPV.

    I agree it should. Pav-Williams had the makings of a FOTY it sucks for boxing fans. Hopefully the fight can still be made in 2010.

    Nope ... Pavlik isn't going to face a serious threat until he moves up in weight ... Williams will have to force a bout by winning an interim title ... which there are already interim titlist out there for both of Pavlik's straps. Williams might just be left out in the cold.

    no significant title defenses
    inactivity

    He's being a bit sheltered ... just because he's white, marketable, and he's fan friendly ... he's going to be protected from his next loss and they're going to make sure it counts.

    both men healthy = fight of the year. but as it turns out it may not have been fight of the year. i know i know that doesnt mean you shouldnt be pissed the contract was signed in the first place. i'm just sayin...
