How many times does it need pointing out that there was more than 2 seconds left???

Further proof that Chavez won the fight. While Chavez beat the prime out of Taylor, Chavez left without even a scartch.

How stupid can you be to think that's even relevant here! :patsch 2 seconds...3 seconds. It don't matter. If Steele let's it go on, Taylor wins the fight. Am I saying that it's wrong? No. Am I saying it's a damn shame and a good story? ...Yes.

Taylor shouldve taken the rematch earlier instead of moving up and getting beat up again a few years later. Chavez said he deserved the rematch in the post fight interview.

Then WTF is the point??? You act like we've read the book.

All we know is what happned, and that there were 2 seconds left so Chavez won.

It's Meldrick Taylor's story. He was 2-3 seconds away from beating Julio Cesar Chavez. The controversy aside, it makes for a good story and it's' quite heartbreaking. He's winning the fight, on my card by about 4-5 rounds, and then he gets knocked out with ...seconds left. Stop acting as if we're getting on Chavez's back, it's got **** all to do with that.

It was sad, but really it was the refs judgement call. i think most would have given him the ok, he was on his feet and coherent just looking away and talking to his corner. He was a great fighter early on, the dude just loved to fight too much and he had enough talent to stay away from that.

 Chavez didn't have any time whatsoever to get over to the other side of the wrong and inflict more punishment. Steele wasn't to know that so I'm not to upset with the decision, but in hindsight, we know that Taylor would have won had he not stopped the fight.

A true champion would have come back and won the title back.
He had his chances so dont come crying about a robbery. Look at the damage he took. One more punch and it could have been worse for him. I hate talking about this because they did rematch and he still got whooped so there is no point in saying he didnt have his chance at redemption.
