Not really. As the saying goes 'there is always one' (usually you!). Nulty is entitled to his opinion, just like the rest of us who post here, but the difference was that he hasn't corroborated his claims with any shred of evidence and just seems to be stirring the pot.

The vast majority of people I have spoken to believe, like myself, that Gavin has the stones to become a genuine world-class operator. It has nothing to do with 'cheerleading' at all - the dude is good enough to come on here and provide us with an insight into what he thinks of his own career and what he thinks of certain topics as a boxing fan, as well as also giving him a platform to talk to his own fans.

I have the upmost respect for Frankie Gavin and Tony Bellew, as boxers and as people. I wish these wankers would **** off. The site is a lot better with these pro's about, we are lucky to have their insight.

I have the utmost respect for anyone who has stepped in the ring pal. If they have te stones to try and make a living from Pro Boxing then they have my respect. I certainly wouldn't throw personal comments at them for no reason via a keyboard. If I was to give constructive reasons as to why I didn't think they would succeed and they came on here and saw it and had a paddy then thats different but I doubt that'd happen.

I have no idea why you have me down as an argumentative type i really dont :-(

You've basically just reworded my post^^^. Personally, I think Gavin has the most potential this country has seen in a while, but I also accept that others might disagree. You are also arguing that you aren't argumentative:lol:.

Bottom line is that Gavin, Bellew, Davies, Moore, Nelson, et al are all sound to post on this site when they don't have to:deal. It's brilliant of them to come on here and talk to their own fans - could you see footballers ever doing that? To those mentioned, thank you for posting on here and also don't take things too seriously:good. This is, after all, just a forum and not everyone will always agree - it's no different to discussing any subject down the pub with someone as people always have different views.

I get told i cant punch i dont go round saying i can, but i am proving to punch harder than people think an getting good feedback of sparring partners, i have never said i will be world champion but dont get me wrong i think i have got the credentials to do it but theres a lot of hard work an many fighters who will want to put an end to that. Lets see how i go an if i lose then criticise but at the moment i am a pro novice an first to admit that an still learning my trade an maybe was a little over the top what i said at first but i shouldn't be subjected to abuse cause im sort of in the limelight an thanks for the support i get on here an i wont be leaving this site this is the best site an an people know about there boxing!!! to a certain degree nulty haha

I think Gavin looks quality since turning pro, he has clearly made quick improvements, but if that is him genuniely posting on this thread it's an embarrassment.

All sportsmen get judged and discussed within the realm they operate in. Gavin is not being compared to the average amateur boxer down the local gym, he is being talked about as potential world class and someone who will make a fortune in his given sport.

If a journalist says he looks bad in a fight, will we see an interview from Gavin saying that he would batter the journo and that the guys mum gives good head?:roll:

Football players get constant abuse and fans who pay have a right to say "Heskey is ****" (for example) even though Heskey is far better than them. The player in question is earning huge sums to play at the top level and is judged by their peers.

If Gavin was a nobody who posted some clips of his fights as an amateur down the local club, then he would not be judged in the same way. If you deal with the first bit of criticism or even slightly out of order comments by saying you would batter the person and then making lame mum jokes you don't do yourself many favours.

Bellew has always replied to posts well. ****, David Haye used to post on here and answered provocative comments about being glass jawed with honesty and without pointing out that he could KO the poster in question.

When all the Olympians turned pro, BJJ looked like the one most suited to the pro ranks to me, but going off their first few fights Gavin has improved more and looks the most likely to go to the highest level.

BJJ needs to watch his weight, as he does not have the dig to be fighting as high as he was last time around.
Degale slaps too much at the moment, has looked better in each fight, but is quite open and not a banger either.

That said, yes they would all beat me, but it hardly makes my opinion irrelevant.
