    LOOOL!

Sorry Jake, you're a really, really good fighter, but you lose this fight in every possible way.

the thing is fighters who is one dimensional but has the skills to submit and control the fight like Shields and Aoki can beat top level well rounded fighters. Aoki beat JZ, Hansen and Alvarez using just his submissions attacks and grappling control

That's true but GSP is nearly impossible to take down, more athletic, and has an amazing ground game as well.

Penn couldn't submit GSP in 2 fights.

Strikeforce need to be careful. Too many guys using them as a spring board to the UFC. Strikeforce need to get dirty - Henderson, Rampage, Karo, Arlovski, Barnett, Sylvia - snap up every guy you can.

He is probably right, as GSP has faced and beat every other better WW; he would roll Shields up in 2 rounds or less though.

Does Shields even stand a chance fighting in the UFC? I don't see how he can pose a threat when he has no striking ability what so ever? If his take down attempts fail, what in the world can he do?

sounds like a great idea, Affliction did the same thing. They can't bury themselves overpaying for guys even though it seems like the obvious thing to do.

Coker is being smart as he can about things that's why he hasn't signed Hendo yet even though Hendo vs mousasi would be a big fight. Hendo wants big bucks and obviously Coker doesn't think he is worth it or he would be with them already.

I think they should build up their rep with competitive fights, rather then superstars. Sign a few exciting fighters with average skills (or young up and comers) and just makesure you match them up well, if it stays on free to air they will get a good following, the average fan just wants to see fighters kicking the **** out of each other. Once there is a good following then maybe go all out on a few elite fighters.

I think strikeforce is doing a great job as it stands, and not growing too quickly.

100%. Don't bury yourself by overspending.

They can't lose site of the product - 100% competative match ups.

They need to maintain the quality especially when as much as people hate the UFC, they put on great cards.

With the way people treat GSP on here, they must have lost there mind when he lost to Serra.

I was shocked. He showed his chin isn't iron but he just got caught and overwhelmed. He needs to try and improve on fighting while hurt.

Nevertheless, in the rematch with Serra and the trilogy with Hughes he showed one lucky win is all you will get over him :)

This guy is lucky he got past Jason Miller. All he did was grapple the whole fight and mount no offense whatsoever. If anything, bring Miller to the UFC. His fight with GSP was amazing.

    That statement is probably true.

GSP still wins by whatever he wants, however.
