I hope they do. Hopkins wouldn´t knock Jones out but beat him up over 12 and Jones doesn´t deserve this, apart from the damage he may take.
Well Hopkins has nothing to gain but some money, and that would surely be compromised now. Nothing Hopkins did would better Green's TKO1. He'd get zero credit for beating damaged washed up goods.
Roy Jones Jr was great but it's time he consider retirement. He might be able to beat Jeff Lacy and other light heavyweights but he has no chance at the higher weights.

It'd be stupid if they stopped Hopkins - RJJ. Why? It's a rematch between 2 legend hall of famers thats 15 years in the making. I'm happy for green, but a rematch between RJJ and Hopkins is the everest finish to 2 legends career if i ever seen one.
Jones and Hopkins means NOTHING. Poor Jones, takes one solid punch and is cactus for the evening and you want him to turn around and do it again vs a much better fighter in a few months time? Give the man his peace i say. He's a pathetic figure in the ring right now imo. Not to mention a fragile one.
