    He was ****ing around! What was he thinkin lowering his hand like that??? I dont think he is as shot as the fight made him look! Green got lucky and put him down, any fighter can get tagged like tat if their hand is down by their balls! But his speed, jab and movement were all there. We have always known his jaw is dodgy but to say he was completely shot on that performance is takin it a bit far.. I think he needs a ****ing telling off for being sucha tit and dropping his hand! He needs to adapt his gameplan like Ali did and work with what he got - his defence needs to be tighter and his game plan shud be simple - stick and ****ing move!!! Bring on bhop - lets see something competititve! He got cut against calzaghe - we couldnt see how that would have beeen, he dominated lacy but lacey is **** and now HE ****ed up by being a tit and getting caught. I have yet to see roy get his arse whupped when everything has gone to plan and there was no interference. Yes he is a shell of himself but do i think he is beyond fighting a competitiv fight with bhop?? HELL NO!!

    Thoughts please....

    Roy Jones is almost 41 years old. How many guys other than Bhop are still fighting at the world level at that age? You want thoughts? Roy has been done for YEARS. Go check out my "Roy, Please retire" thread after the Trinidad fight. The man is not going to change at this stage of the game.
    He needs to stop before he gets seriously hurt.

    He fought the exact same way "with his hand around his balls" all his career, his reflexes let him get away with it. They aren't what they used to be, but Roy knows no other way of fighting.
    He always used his physical gifts to his advantage, they're gone.
    If Roy has any sense at all, he'll call it a day.

    Honestly I think he has some sort of brain damage!! Kinda like Eric Lindros who played professional hockey or Steve Young who played Football!!!

    Even the shot RJJ took from Glen Johnson wasn't that tremendous and RJJ was knocked out for several minutes!

    So true. Roy is one of my all time favorite, but he needs to hang it up.

    Green did his job so give him some credit because many people on here picked Roy to win.

    I wonder what he meant at the end, he shouts "Guy's I told you. I told you didn't I?" presumably to his corner. The vid I've got doesn't show the post fight interviews, did he call it a premature stoppage?

    No he wouldn't, it took Green under 2 mins to hurt Roy. You think he could go another 34 without being touched? C'mon man.
    Roy needs to hang the gloves up.

    What were people expecting? Jones can't compete at the world class level anymore, I still don't get why people give Jones a chance when he's fighting a live opponent...

    Hope he finally retires.

    I suspect Roy will come back and fight again. He will have a hard time retiring after this.

    I think referee shouldn't have stopped it. He was weathering the storm with his hands up. Ofcourse, he was still shook from the KO, but cmon he was hardly taking a beating, it shouldn't have been stopped
