Now that the Jones fight is presumably off, who will Hopkins fight now?

Hopkins has made a career out of fighting great opposition, so I'll go out on a limb and say he eventually fights Dawson.

I'm glad the rematch won't happen though still very sad to see RJJ lose the way he did. I'd rather see Jones drop against Green than lose a rematch to someone he easily beat and CAN easily beat in his prime.

I'm a Hopkins fan too but it's better off this way. Now Chad Dawson is jumping on Hopkins.

I'd like to see some of those British bartenders that were all over the damn forum telling people "Calzaghe would win even in their foookin proim man!!", shove that beer up your ass now, piglets. Calzaghe was the one kissing the canvas in round one and Danny Green over there just ended the fight in round one.

Now watch the Calzaghe losers come and say "ROFLZ HE CARRIED JONES MAN!", again I say, lay down the ****ing beer. Can't blame them for being over defensive, ancient RJJ is the biggest name on his record. :rofl

The accepted assumption amongst boxing fans is that Hopkins would rather take on an easier challenge than face someone who might beat him in Dawson. But as you said, when has he ever taken the easy road? Wouldn't shock me one bit if he did fight Dawson.

Jeez you're a sad and bitter little ****, camel ****er

Calzaghe vs Jones was a clash of 2 different styles, as was Jones vs Green.

Just appreciate watching fights instead of looking for ways to twist things and be a *****.

Calzaghe schooled Jones in a highly entertaining fight, and if you don't think he eased off on him in the last few rounds then you're blind. Calzaghe easing off RJJ in the last few rounds = carrying him.

Green is a puncher more than a boxer, and used his strength to overpower RJJ and stop him in the first round.

Let me guess, you're going to ignore the old adage of 'styles make fights' in order to promote your bitchy agenda?

Get ****ed you demented little ****

At this point if he were to beat Hopkins in a rematch, the Green fight still is there. The image of Roy being stopped is an image we have now seen 3 times. If he keeps fighting and gets stopped again it could affect his legacy.

It would be a great win if he beat Dawson but I still look at the age of 45 years old next month. For a heavyweight it can be done since most of those guys are slow and lazy, but a man under 200 and fighting at 45 is unheard of. Eventually the age will show. I don't think Ornelas will win tonight, but what if Hopkins ages quickly. He has been in his 40's almost 5 years and eventually age will catch up to him. I doubt Ornelas could do it, but he could.

Like i figured, its a personal thing for Bernard to have this fight.

Now its Roy's word on whether he'll continue or not that we're waiting on.
