    MOTHER ****ING LOUISIANA SUPERDOME

I went to the Saints/Patriots game on Sunday and the entire time all I could imagine was how it would look for Pac/PBF.

70,000 tickets in the stands, ring over the fleur-de-lix, tons of floor seats...

New Orleans KNOWS how to manage crowds (Mardi Gras), the Superdome is a 10 minute walk from the French Quarter (Bourbon Street, etc), the lodging/entertainment/food...

The city NEEDS something likes this. I promise none of you will be disappointed if you come to the Big Easy.

    Plus, y'know, I live there.

The thing that would suck abuot Dallas is that there is no gambling allowed in Texas. Of course the Casinos want the fight in Vegas more money can be made there than in TExas.

There's also a pretty big difference in the ticket prices though. I'm sure a lot of fighters in the US (i.e., Mosley, Cotto, possibly Arreola) could sell out a 50,000 seat arena if they were charging $50 a pop for tickets like Calzaghe did against Manfredo or Hatton did against Lazcano.

yeah, those two fights were stellar boxing matchups. Seriously, anybody in the UK could fill up wembley stadium. Just put a boxer with the union jack all over their boxing trunks and it would sell out.

The fight is happening in March and it ain't happening in the UK. Fighters will have to wear rain coats in England.

I wouldn't mind it in vegas....only a 5 hour drive from San Diego to Vegas...I wouldn't mind seeing it at Cowboy stadium or the Superdome though

I imagine that this, along with the top honchos of Vegas willing to shell out so much to host the fight, is the biggest reason that Vegas is the likely location of the fight.

Most boxing fans I see want this in Dallas and for good reason.
100,000 strong will be at the fight. The stadium is beautiful, and this is exactly what boxing needs.

It would be nice to see Hopkins vs Dawson on the undercard as well.
