we can agree the mid 90's to early noughties were pretty much there respective primes,no? and did'nt aerts take one of those fights with just a few hours notice? look it up! besides that aerts has had a career plagued with injury he could have achieved a lot more.

Ignashov at his best was my favorite. I wouldn't say he was the best of the lot, though, all things considered. I'd probably go with Dekkers.
I would personally say Kaman, although he is one of my favourite fighters. That being said I don't know an awful lot about Theriault or Wilson and so can't really comment on them. With things like these, and with guys at such a high level, it mostly comes down to a matter of personal preference anyway.
Regarding Hoost and Aerts, obviosuly Hoost is called Mr Perfect for a reason. He scores very high in all domains, defense, boxing, highkicks, lowkicks, tactic, motivation, ... Aerts is less skilled overall in my opinion and fought in a more risky way, but one of the greatest no doubt about that. I do rate Hoost above Aerts for the reasons mentioned.
I'm trying but it's very hard to find anything on either of them. There is very little satisfying footage or indeed written pieces on them. The little footage of Theriault is of his last fight, his KO over Navarez and one early in his career when he gets KOed. And with Don, I've only managed to find one fight of his and it was his last against Dick Kimber. Does anyone have decent info/footage of either?
How could I forget Benny "the jet" Uriqudez? Legend, fought all comers, fought all rules, won most of them. Out of the pole I am voting Dekkers for similar reasons, he went to Thailand, fought them on their terms, and won them over.
