Dawson ... another madatory ducking in the works

He is calling out Hopkins, I guess he will call out Roy Jones as well
or fight Tarver for the third time .... just to run from his mandatory again.

 

dawson is a coward. why doesn't he call out cloud or pascal?? prime fighters. not just fighting every1 in the over 40's club. he is a skilled boxer tho that is why i dont get him!!!!!!!!!!

 

are cloud and pascal really bigger challenges than Hopkins? I know which fight would sell best

Dawson has a mandatory like the government common sense, like the global economy stability, like Megan Fox a *****.

Chad Dawson isn't even a paperholder these days (but I guess he could still duck a paper mandatory).

 

I'd actually much rather see Cloud fight Pascal and the winner fight Dawson. Dawson is right to go after Hopkins. I wouldn't blame Hopkins though, if he looked elsewhere for his next bout.

 

Dawson isn't a complete fighter either, he can only fight defensively, it's just that his one dimension is probably better than either of the fighter's you mentioned.

 

I don't really understand what Dawson has done wrong.

He is calling out what many regard as the "best" in his division.

As others have said he has no mandatory to duck.

From a personal view i would rather dawson fought pascal i think that would be a better fight to watch.

 

He's way more complete than Pascal or Cloud and more complete than anyone they've faced. Like I said before Dawson outclassed both.

 

uh this is PROFESSIONAL boxing and as a PROFESSIONAL who wants to make money he will go after the biggest money available to him and so he should


if cloud/pascal was on HBO PPV and filling out 20,000 seat arenas do you really think dawson wouldnt want to fight them then? i dont think so

 

Hopkins seem to me to be the biggest challenge for him right now at LHW, along with Cloud perhaps.

 

If you had paying attention, you would have known that Dawson will be mandated to fight the winner of Diaconu/Pascal within this time next year, so those fights will be made. He just wants Hopkins as his next fight since he is rated above him by the ring magazine, and it would be good to squeeze that fight in before he fights the Pascal/Diaconu winner. It would be a good learning experience as well.
