Well I tore a big hole through the bottom of my wrestling shoes, so I suppose it's time for a new pair.

I got my small paycheck of $176 and don't have any bills to pay except for $45 a month

So I figured maybe I should just bite the bullet and get the new adistar

The adidas ones are well expensive. I don't know how anyone can afford them. Get them if you can afford them meant to be awesome.

Get the Rivals. I don't understand why people pay so much money for fancy shoes (boxing or regular shoes). It's mostly just to look good and show off. The Rivals will be fine, they make good stuff.

Just my opinion, get the Adidas if you really think they are worth it.

  5. At my gym, the more expensive the gear you buy the more foolish you look. That fancy looking gear doesn't really matter as much as the hard work you put in.

I remember coming in with $90 gloves one day that was a gift, and i got **** about it for a month after that.

It's like over dressing, rocking up to a construction site in italian leather boots. This is common over most sports. I know my soccer mates take the **** out of newbians wearing top of the line ronaldiniho boots.

I don't really care about the look, I just care about the quality of gear

They look like a good shoe and as I mentioned before I had adidas and got nearly 2 years out of them before I wore a hole in the toe.

As far as flash goes, yea. W/e you do don't put tassles on unless you can back that **** up. Especially as amatuer. The only time I ever saw a fighter get laughed at by most everyone it was a guy who came in with tassles, fancy silk robe with embroidered lettering, all that jazz. Looked like he was gonna own the show. He got simply battered ofc, and the whole place laughed. Never seen someone look so humiliated. I tried not to laugh personally cuz you could tell he was embarassed, but it was near impossble.

ive never owned or tried on a pair of boxing shoes..

my feet are very wide - are the shoes quite flexible (ie. they will simply wrap around my foot rather than crush it) or does this vary from shoe to shoe? can anyone suggest a boxing boot for someone with wider feet?

  13. Are those the boots Adidas made for the olympics? If you do decide to get them, should post up a review. Big adidas fan here :D

Yup these are the ones they issued to the olympians. I'm going to wait to buy them so I can buy my family presents. But I'll assure you I'll write a review once I get them
