It didnt take a lot of balls to sign a fight with Hatton or Oscar. Lets face it, Oscar was clearly not at his best (not that floyd wouldnt have faught a prime oscar, but who knows with his record). Floyd knew he could beat him. Floyd also knew he could beat the very limited Ricky Hatton, hence why he signed that fight with east. The point is that he has problems signing fights that he knows he can win. It seems as if the fighters who pose the greatest challenges to him physically that he avoids. Like Mosley, who has far more in the tank than Oscar does. Or Margarito at the time, or Cotto ("Im not gonna let boxing retire me, im gonna retire from boxing")

 

And he also knows he could whoop the best boxer in the world manny pacquaio. He also knew he could whoop a PRIME MOSLEY but the my tooth hurt got in the way of a "mega fight"
