Calzaghe's joke legacy takes another massive hit

well he done a pretty good job at giving jc aka the greatest fighter since marciano a good fight, jesus christ should have been a walk in the park!

 

Boxing news and most of the Sky panel scored for Reid- regardless it shouldn't have been close on paper. 'All time great' vs decent fighter coming off a loss to sugar boy malinga and all that.:thumbsup Joe must have runied him.

 

He was practically fighting one handed for the second half of that fight to be fair though.

 

So he was one handed vs Reid, Jones got old overnight... what about Hopkins, Lacy and Kessler? Also do you have any explainations for the knockdowns against Karbery Salem, Hopkins, Jones and Mitchell. Out of all of them they have about 6 stoppages in their last 40 fights!! Also how come he didn't stop David Starie or Rick Thornberry?

Also how come he didn't fight ....... :thumbsup

Lol hold on mate I thought we were talking about the Reid fight here. Calzaghe won the first few rounds quite clearly, his hand goes in the 5th I think it was and then Reid makes if a very close fight. Coincidence?

Jones was definitely over the hill when Joe fought him I've never said any different. He has obviously declined even more since their fight though.

Most fighters get knocked down in their careers, it's how they bounce back that matters. Have you ever seen a more remarkable recovery from a knockdown than the Mitchell fight? Hopkins couldn't stop Eastman don't see your point here.

Not only did his hand go in I think the 5th he was also right in the middle of a crap divorce. He admits it was a **** performance but he still won.

Go back and score that fight again. I was a Reid fan back then and had it by one round to Joe. I scored it Sunday night by 2 to Joe.
