    Good Question. Who and when?

People will say RJJ and BHOP. But as much as people will say Joe didn't want to know. They certainly didn't want to know Joe.

An easy win for Calzaghe in front of a huge football stadium crowd. If it happened in 2005 it would have been a huge PPV event. :deal

Brought her back round with a few gentle slaps to the face, and gave her a glass of water to steady her nerves. Then after looking around to make sure no one was looking I forearm-smashed her in the face...........she didn't like that very much:verysad. Gave her two more though, and after that she was out cold again. Her nose is a right ****ing mess.:good

If I stick my neck out and give Audley any support I'm gonna get savaged.

To be fair I had never thought about that matchup.

    Interesting.

Audley would have had to have some form of Belt though for Joe to have wanted the fight.

I agree though fans would have payed to see that one.

Jeff, you seem to be going to a hell of a lot of effort to argue against a point that nobody's making. I don't think I have ever heard anyone call him an all time great super champion! He is what he is, a very good fighter of his era, nothing moe, nothing less.

As for the Jones fight, like someone already pointed out, for Jones' loss to detract from Calzaghe's legacy would mean you would have had to give him credit for it in the first place, which I never did.

about as hard and fast as a 38 yr old Roy Jones could have thrown you mean?

    (i.e. reasonably mild and slow)

Calzaghe had an amazing ability to recover instantly from big knockdowns it has to be said.

well each time he was knocked down, it was hardly backed up with a Pacquiao-style barrage of unleashed hell. None of his opponents applied any real pressure after those knockdowns.

Most of them were flash knockdowns and he had plenty of time to recover...not big serious knockdowns.

Unlike Erik Morales - every time he was knocked down and got up, his opponents looked like they were being paid to come back and kill him.

I think Calzaghe would beat Audley.

    Quite easily actually.
