Now that Calzaghes legacy is falling apart, will he feel the urge to come back?

I think that recent events have increased the possibility of him coming back. I'm pretty sure he is playing with the thought of fighting Chad Dawson and the winner of the Super Six.
    Anyone agree?

No because he sucks. If he fights a legit fighter his overhyped ass gets KOd. Why would he come back for that?

No, Joe is all about the "0" as in 46-0. He carefully crafted that record and he's not about to risk it with a comeback.

    Why would he bother?
Whoever he's beaten will then be scrutanised and everyone will say how crap they were for what happened after Calzaghe, rather than before.

Jesus wept! I've said it so often - I've never been a massive Calzaghe fan, however the one thing I have is great respect, why does everbody presume he ducked the Americans? He never got beaten, and with his glass hands still had the class to dominate fighters... FACT!!!! All this he's a bum etc makes my blood boil - any fighter deserves respect from us keyboard warriors, and no the '0' wasn't is only goal, I remember Lacy being almost God before their fight, Kessler has one other loss since Joe beat him....but no his legacy is going down the pan - please please stop the hate.

I wouldn't say its falling apart (This is coming from someone who does not like Calzaghe) going I think 46-0 and being a SMW champ for a decade or so is worth something. Also keep in mind that Calzaghe has a really unique style which is arguably a first in boxing a sport that has been around for decades so thats impressive in its own right. The Hopkins, Kessler (beat him when he was undefeated), Lacy (see kessler), Reid, wins are good to great wins as well. For the record I always had him as a HOFer rather than a ATG.

I hope not. I have seen quite enough of his awful slapping amateur style.

I think this whole legacy falling apart thing is getting overstated at the moment.

Just like a while ago the whole ATG thing was getting overstated.

I'd say soon it will even out and Joe will have the right amount of respect.

I highly doubt he will come back. In fact I would be shocked if he did.

How is his legacy falling apart? Do his former opponents have to remain undefeated too? Nonsense.

Calzaghe is hated by black Americans, because he beat their fighters. Its as simple as that on ESB.

listen up keyboard warriors whom never been in a fight yet alone a boxing match... to go undefeated as a professional fighter is very very tough... this is why only a few fighters in the history of this very long lived sport have gone undefeated and retired champions. First of all just because a fighter has a couple of losses means they have fought tough competition just isnt true and the same goes for saying a fighter whom goes undefeated fought nobodys and was protected, which just isnt true, when Two professional fighter whom do this for a living, get in the ring anything can happen, and to go 30 plus 40 plus fights winning world titles and going undefeated is an amazing accomplishment, and theres is nothing that can be done to tarnish that, the same people that hate on calzaghe hate on mayweather and it just doesnt make any sense, the kessler that fought ward was not the same guy that fought calzaghe, lacy has never been the same, and bhop was not past it as everyone woulod like to believe, watch the pavlik fight. Calzaghe is not the greatest of all time,, sure, but i dont remember anyone saying he was either, but hes definately an atg, a unique style and a long undefeated reign as world champion merrit that. Stop hating from behind the protection of your keyboard, if going undefeated is that easy , go out and do it yourselves
