haha. I hear you too. Thing I've noticed though, the fans seem pretty tolerant of losses. Guys like Calzaghe and Floyd seem to think their earning potential will dry up if they lose. It doesn't seem that way. Hatton's fans still followed him to vegas after being KO'd by Floyd. Manny's losses haven't dinted his reputation. Somehow, I dont know how given the shallowness of casual fans, but SOMEHOW, marketability is very resistant to losses.

I like to think if I was a pro I'd manage myself carefully until I got established/rich, then Id go out blazing for legacy. Oh well, in my dreams right? :good

 

These arguments are good for both sides...well the ones with solid points at least.....i definitely see both points....however someone called his resume b-....i honestly think it at least has to be A- i mean 130-135 was flawless damn near...now 140+ has a few good names a couple title holders so A- sounds about fair to me....i dont know. Oh ****, in the one video Arum claims Mosley ducked Manny.:rofl Despite the fact that Shane begged for that fight and even offered to come down to 140 lbs., Arum claims Shane ducked him because he got tired of waiting around and signed to fight Berto. Yeah, I bet Arum would love to drain Shane's ass down to 140 lbs and have Manny fight him coming off a year and a half layoff. He could then turn around and claim that Manny is the greatest athlete of all time based on the win.

When he wanted to fight Gatti he went and made the fight happen,he even fought two mandatories just to get Gatti in the ring with them,but when it came to those other guys he didnt do **** and instead comes up with **** like "while those guys where beating each other nobody was beating me" how could they beat you if you dont fight them.

Excellent point. You can call anyone out, thats not enough. How serious you are about actually making the fights is what counts. They pull up old post fight interview of him calling out guys, and he ended up fighting none of them. He sure got gatti in the ring though

What is also crazy is that Fraud groupies wanted to see Mosley fight Pac at 140,the same groupies that are always crying about Pac fighting Cotto at 145.

Floyd is in a position where he can fight anyone he wants (if theyre available, naturally). He just snaps his fingers and it happenes. When he decided he wanted to fight Hatton the fight was made the next day.

 

And Gatti said many times he didnt want to fight him cause he didnt want to give him a payday after all the trash he had been talking but fraud went and made the fight happen.

 

Floyd has called out Winky Wright! I mean of all the people Floyd would NEVER fight, Winky has to be at the top of the list. :-(
