Pacquiao got the lion's share in his last 2/3 fights just like Mayweather. Both of them took the lesser share against cash king DLH.

And Manny is all about the money too. he was ready to pass on the Hatton fight after they already had a deal becasue he wanted to get more money. Hatton's lawyer threatened legal action before Manny finally agreed to a deal in which he still got more money. Manny is all about getting paid. If the money isn't right, then he's not gonna fight either.

This is what I'm talking about. Two of Pac's last 3 opponents were guys that Floyd recently beat. How is it admirable for Pac to fight them but, deplorable if Floyd fights them? And the last guy that Pac fought was paper champ who had recently been raped by Margo and was battered by Clottey in rout to a gift decision. And Cotto wasn't even the top fighter in the division. Let's also not forget about Pac passing over the real champ at 135 in order to fight a paper champ who had just gotten a gift against a washed up Morales.

 

To an extent yeah. I can see the obvious financial sense in fighting DLH and even Hatton (which I think he considered an easy fight, tbh). But there's way easier fights he could have taken, in term of risk/reward, than Cotto. When That fight was announced even the FBF fans, who are usually loathe to congratulate PAC on anything, where saying it was a ballsy move. That only lasted a few days, tho.

 

He's KO'd 4 of his last 9 you clown. 2 of those fights were against a 154lb Oscar and Carlos BAldomir who you'd need a wrecking ball with spikes on it to KO. But ****, being outweighed 10lbs he was still able to buckle Oscar.
