I have had horse meat in Holland, the results were not as noticeable.

The man obviously did not get big just by taking steroids, he takes his diet and training very seriously. That however, does not mean he did not take steroids.

For Christ's sake the guy went form Erkel to Ronnie Coleman in like 9 months. You do the math. :patsch

On a more serious note: When you are on PED your system is undergoing an elevated anabolic state, thus allowing one to consume 6-8 meals per day. Many with substantial amounts of protein, 100 grams or more.

Believe me I know from first hand experience. In fact: I could probably tell you basically what the guy has/is taking and at what amounts.

Overeem is by far not the only fighter on steroids. And if you do it you might just go all the way like he does.

Bull**** on the telling us what he is on. :good

Unless you have specific information on how Overeem trains and on how his body responds to hormones you would struggle to figure out amounts.

if he eats like he says he doesn and trains like the clips we've seen then i don't see why it's crazy that a 6' 5" man has grown like him.

But your long-term health will suffer greatly as a result! But of course, you are right, a lot of fighters (And other sports-persons) abuse steriods and while it is sad that they are risking their health it would be naive of anyone to think any sport is "Clean" and I guess those who take them probably feel that they have to, simply to compete on a "Level playing field"! And they are often so determined to succeed that they will turn to almost anything to help them achieve their goals regardless of the long term cost! I like Overeem and I hope he remains healthy!!!!

Yes correct of course! I have no personal knowledge/insights into his training but I do know how fighters incorporate PED into their training.

For instance: An injectable testosterone is always used as a base drug, usually a short ester such as propionate is injected daily at dosages of 75-100 mg/day for 8-12 weeks. Then other more androgenic drugs are added such as Masteron and for the real adventureous, Trenbolone. Both are the short estered varities in keeping with the trend. With dosages of 50 mg/day being most common.

Adding a pure androgen such as Halotestin the week before the fight gives the user a final bit of aggression for his endeavor. Coupled this protocol with an estrogen AI (aromatase inhibitor) such as Arimidex .5 mg EOD during cycle and a SERM such as Nolvadex for one month post cycle.....Instant PED cycle that produces lean muscle gain and even some fat loss.

The great thing is that most of the muscle you gain is kept after the cycle is finished. Naturally follow up cycles do not typically yeild the same results as previous/initial efforts. A law of diminishing returns, so too speak.

Whether Peptides such as HGH are used and how drug tests are circumvented are way more than I wish to expound upon at this time. The potential for health problems down the road may be a valid concern as well. Long term, uninterrupted use/abuse of PED will cause serious health complications IMO.

Let's talk about fighters using steroids in a tongue in cheek fashion but none of us know so we shouldn't say for certain until they fail drug tests.

The only thing we should discuss is how every major fighter should be drug tested after every fight. If the fighter is on a televised card for a major org (be it mma or boxing) then they should be tested.
