That could be his intention as well. Honestly, we'll never know until things are said and done. I don't know why immature keyboard warriors in here continually get excited and start mudslinging at the start of every fight negotiation.

Everything will come out once the fight is either signed, or, the deal falls apart.

I didn't know the gloves for the Morales-Pac fight were 10 oz gloves. I just thought Pac used 8 ounce Winning Gloves, not 8 ounce Cleto-Reyes gloves.

    Wow just Wow.

Should be an asterick for the Eric Morales Victory ***10 ounce gloves used in a 130 fight.

Again, read rafael's chat today. He has zero info on what Floyd's team proposed. He's just assuming the fight will take place @ 147.

    Do you mother****er read?

"If the deal is completed, the bout would be contested at 147 pounds for the welterweight title, a source told ESPN.com's Dan Rafael."
    http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=4712939

This is called speculation. Until it is released from Arum or Scheifer no mother****er here knows what the weight is. All the boxing news site are just speculating like you fools here.

Don't be ignorant. Michael Koncz had some issues. Even he thinks this deal is fine that Arum brought Pacquiao.

Dollar-wise, yes, he seems to be good with it. Is Koncz now advising Pac on what weight to fight at and what size gloves to use? :patsch

Where did you get this information from?

I was always under the impression that they used the proper sized ounces, but that the contract forced Pacquiao to use Morales' preferred Winning gloves.

Yeah, I don't believe that they wore 10oz. gloves during Pac-Morales I. I believe the writer has his info wrong.

It was still chicken-**** that Morales' camp felt they needed to dictate the type of gloves Pac wore, though.

Pacquiao's last loss, which occurred in 2005 against Erik "El Terrible" Morales (first fight of the trilogy), caused controversy as a lack of contractual diligence led to the signing of the fight contract that stipulated the use of 10 oz gloves. Team Pacquiao would later argue that the results of the first Morales fight would have been different had then-manager Murad Muhammad negotiated for Pacquiao to wear his normal 8 oz ("puncher's") gloves.

Well, this is the first I've ever heard of the gloves being 10 oz., so, you can see why I'm skeptical. I know they made him wear Winning gloves, but, never heard anything about them being 10 oz. Truly a travesty if true.
