As the headlines on BBC sport prove...

    Pacquiao set for Mayweather clash

The headline is from Pacquiao's perspective. It's about his next challenge.

    And the opening paragraph...

Five-weight world champion Manny Pacquiao and unbeaten American Floyd Mayweather are set to meet on 13 March

    Pacquiao's name and achievements first....

Do you need things spelt out to you?

The way the media are reporting it tells you that Pac is seen as the star.

The fight is being reported as Pacquiao being challenged, not Mayweather.

What are you people on about? This is actually pretty interesting.

  8. Although bizarrely, Floyd Mayweather is well liked and well respected in the UK. I can't see why; he's a complete c*nt.

there is more than one out there, and I know it was mentioned somewhere

edit: sorry thought this was in a different thread, but the point is...whether the title is mentioned or not, pac IS the title holder, and people challenge title holders, not the other way around.

    It'll be the editor's decision.

They base the slant of the article around public feeling/perception.

    Pac is the star.

just kidding :yep Pac is the number 1 P4P, he is the defending champion, he has just recently accomplished a new feat (7 division titlist). The journalist has done a good job constructing his article.:good
