    i live in the UK and read reports on the daily, believe me pac is nowhere near the star over here in the UK as mayweather is.

    You only have to look at ppv sales in the UK if you want statistics to back it up.

    Last time i checked its mayweather doing exclusive interviews with sky sports news, which is the biggest sports news channel in the UK.

    Mayweather is the bigger name in the UK, mainly due to the Hatton fight, which was massive here. Who cares who's the bigger star, the bigger star will be the man who wins on March 13th

    This is BBC article though so what do you expect! The same bunch of clowns that prioritise inferior sports over boxing all the time and won't show professional boxing on their channel, or even entertain any type of negotiations.

    I disagree that Mayweather is well liked in the UK. He keeps on saying that he would love to fight in the UK for all his fans there, god knows where they are??????????

    If by England you mean Britain or the United Kingdom then i'd say Mayweather may edge it. The buzz in Britain for the Hatton Mayweather fight was far bigger than the Hatton Pacquiao fight.
