who won Machida vs Rua

Some rds were close but as an entirety there is no possible way to give Machida that fight.

I think he might do better in the rematch but I still fancy Rua to edge him, Machida will develop a plan to take less leg kicks, Shogun in return has to sustain more attacks when he has Machida backing up.... I know Machida thrives on counterattacking but Rua has a solid chin & is 1 of the few LHWs that can afford to do this + he can & will hurt Machida too.

Rua - if the fight is scored fair this time - will win 3-2, taking the last rd as it becomes a war type fight.

Lyoto Machida won all five rounds with the slight exception of the fourth which could have gone to Shogun.

 

I scored it 3-2 Machida when I first watched it and haven't seen it since.

I gave the first three rounds to Machida, and the two championship rounds to Rua.

 

Cecil Peoples interprets the results of the poll in favor of Machida, "leg votes don't win polls."

 

I assume that you are either blind or 100% ******ed. Rua landed twice as many shots as Machida and his shots looked to be considerably harder.

Machida may have won 2 rounds, but 1 of those were subject to debate.

Machida looked lucky to have finished that fight. Shogun looked to have a few more rounds left in him.
