Relax bruh . . . you all know I'm not exactly a Floyd fan . . . but let's be fair . . . that article is based on opinion and speculation

    . . . there's is a GAG agreement between both parties . . . therefore that info cannot be verified. :D

Isn't 10 oz gloves what they use in Las Vegas?

I really hope one of the "Mods" close this Thread...Because its 100% FALSE!!!

WITH "NO HESITATION" MAYWEATHER AGREED TO A WELTERWEIGHT 147LBS FIGHT 50/50 SPLIT...PERIOD!!! AND ARUM TOOK THAT DEAL TO MANNY PACQUIAO.

To spread such a LIE is absolutely INEXCUSABLE AND UNEXCEPTABLE!!!

And this poster has assured that NO-ONE will ever take him SERIOUSLY!!!

    PLEASE CLOSE THIS THREAD!!!!!!

Ellerbe, the burden of proof goes both ways. And I'm not reading your garbage novel... I know it probably pisses you off cuz it took you hours to research but still not creditable. I started the thread to quote a link.

I'm just here to report things.

I'm just hear to report things.
Google 154 10 oz Mayweather... there are plenty of sources. I know it's hard to believe but until we see the original contract it is very possible.

I think crying for the mods won't help. Remember I'm just reporting things and not making up any accusation, as I said before, the burden of proof works both ways.

Sorry PBF nuthuggers but you need to post a link otherwise. :smoke

The only reason that this thread has 173 posts in such a short time is because its anti-Mayweather.

Floyd aint my favourite fighter but some of you guys need to get a fkn life.... THATS embarrassing :-(

That's not the point. He took what Manny Pacquiao countered which is 147 versus the alleged 154, 10 oz gloves. I put "alleged" and I truly hope this makes you feel better.

    Peace brother. :thumbsup

10 oz. gloves are used from 154 and up through heavyweight. 8 oz. gloves are used @ 147 and below.

Uh, no. Neither guy has signed ****. And judging from this interview with Pac, Floyd did at least ask for 10 oz. gloves:

    http://boxing.fanhouse.com/2009/12/...cquiao-i-want-to-fight-mayweather-very-badly/

FH: How important are the eight-ounce gloves?

Pacquiao: That's a very important aspect of the negotiations to me. I really want to use the eight-ounce gloves.

I know that but I think in Las Vegas they use 10 oz. gloves in 147, can anyone confirm this?
