Oh, Paul's face suggested that they were quite effective.

Lederman decided in the 11th to stop watching the fight and make sure his card at least gave the American HBO fighter a draw. Paul lost the 11th pretty clearly, then came back to win the 12th.

How is that? I thought that was a round that could have went either way.. You make it seem lik Martinez dominated that round.. They were going back in forth in that wrong..

Well with all the public weeping he did over Dirrell - Froch, hearing him explain that 119-110 Williams card should be mildly interesting.

No, that is not what I meant. I respect walk with me's boxing knowledge. I just want to hear his input. Martinez is a very awkward fighter and would give anyone a difficult fight.

In the last minute of that round, I recall him splattering Williams with a whole series of very accurate left hands. I'm sure I'll watch this fight again, but from memory the 11th seemed to be a clear Martinez round.

I would rather be the guy capable of firing back after being hit instead of the one forced to hold after being hit.

Martinez face was swollen badly, Williams had two cuts, one from a headbutt.

Williams land more punches, in 9 out of 12 rounds.

    I would rather be Williams.

Oh my bad... I'm just a little throwed off about the reaction to this fight with somebody acting like Martinez got robbed.. The only thing wrong was that judges outrageous scorecard...

But in the first minute of that round, Martinez did nothing but eat shots while trying to reach Williams' body. And Williams landed just as many shots in those exchanges as Martinez, along with consistently landing jabs the whole round.

I'm not watching the fight with my blinders on like some of you guys.. That was a good action pack round by both fighters..

Well, Williams should forget the Pavlik fight and think about a rematch with Martinez for the WBC 154 title. Something is telling me the second go around will be much better the the original.
