to be fair boxing is a business and you cant begrudge fighters a payday and unfortunately you would get more viewers for green vs tyson/holyfield than green vs dawson etc. As for mundine vs green 2 it is also a big payday for green but when the pioneer shows he still has danny's number he would put a stop to green's chances at more paydays.
Correct, apart from being a very good operator it seems Hyder is totally off his head. 90% of the people that read boxing articles in the press don't know jack sh_t about it. So the best way to get the column read is to include 'names' everybody knows eg. Kostya, Hollyfield etc. ...just a meaningless article to get people talking, and the fact that it's been raised here just proves the point.
If he managed both of those Flamengo he'd retire one of our most popular fighers of all time - particularly for part B.
Angelo Hyder has done a great job with so many of our fighters over recent years. Like others were saying he needs to put those high profile overseas names out in the press to create hype. Angelo is 1 of the most knowledgable people i have met in the boxing industry & is by far 1 of the most hard working. If we had more people like him putting their time into the sport...boxing would be so much more greater as a result...his work in organizing sponsors is incredible also.
