The Yemen is part of Asia, but Naz is from Sheffield and has Moroccan heritage.

Khan and Hamed definitely both British, you don't find those silly Sheffield/Manchester accents in Pakistan or Yemen.

Not hated, but he is a hell of a lot less popular because he went on PPV before he was even a world champion. Why the **** would you pay to see a ****ing Commonwealth title fight?

You must be joking I can't stand the horrible slag. As I've previously said though I'd love the opportunity to ruin her if she isn't already. :hey

He'd built a good fanbase by fighting on ITV, I know loads of lads who aren't really into boxing but watched Khan fights. God I wish I was a boxing fan in the era where the likes of Benn + Eubank fought on ITV regularly. :-(

Then you'd moan about Eubanks level of opposition like the rest of us did.....;)

I do realise this, but the fact is people were expected to pay good money for "International" and commonwealth title fights.... it certainly is not right, no matter who's fighting.

Didn't explain my point properly. I agree entirely with what you're saying and the fact that he was being showcased as a PPV attraction when he wasn't even facing British-level fighters and as a result some of those fans don't really care about him anymore.

Say Setanta had Haye and khan stuck to ITV, who would fill the ppv gap since Hatton hasn't got anything left. Sky needed a new ppv fighter and khan was the best option to make money.

I've no doubt he is a decent lad. A lad I train with was paid to go down and spar with Khan before the Gomez fight, our coach and the guy said that he was a gentleman.

I am just disgusted at the bull **** that surrounds his fights where ex pros who know boxing insult our intelligence by pretending these bums can fight, the fact they charge you 15quid for the priveldge rubs salt in the wounds. It is disgusting and has th epotential to turn me away from boxing in the same way greedy, diving footballers means that I barely take an interset in football these days. I used to watch a match most days, now I am lucky if I watch one a fortnight.
