UFC wants this fight becuse they feel we are suckers. Tito and Chuck looked like S&*T in their last fights. But since everyone knows the names of Tito and Chuck, they want us to plunk down a lot of money too see them fight. Well not me..but you guys/gals can do what you want with your money.
I sincerely hope this fight does not happen. There is absolutely no point. Tito lost comprehensively twice when both were at their best. This fight is a money making fight. If these guys had a score to settle then it would have some worth but Liddell is by far the superior fighter.
I like Chuck but he's old and shot and Tito isn't too far off. He looked awful against Forrest ring rust or not.
I didn't know these guys were going to coach TUF 11. This is by far the most ridiculous match up I've ever seen. I don't think I'll have any anticipation for the bout because it will prove nothing.
I agree with part about the UFC just trying to use their names. I thought I read that Tito and Forrest didn't generate the interest the UFC was anticipating. I believe this pairing will be an equal to bigger let down.
I guess it's a reasonably interesting fight if it's part of a card, nowhere near good enough to headline anymore. I'm more dissapointed that we're going to have to watch them be coaches. The history and the bad blood will be interesting I guess but I want to see two new guys, Vitor and Silva or Marquardt would have been cool.
I was hoping to see some young fighters coach the show. Chuck and Tito could fight anytime. Dana wants to build the hype and PPV the **** out of it. **** Zuffa
I don't think fights have to "prove something" in order to be worth watching. Ali-Frazier 3 didn't prove anything but it was probably the greatest of their three fights. I can see why some people wouldn't be excited about this, but this fight could be spectacular. Chuck no longer has a chin and Tito's back and knees are totally wrecked. I know people usually see the decaying fighters as a reason to NOT want to watch the fight, but I am more excited about seeing this unpredictable fight now than I would be to have seen it 4 years ago when a Lidell KO was all but assured. If Chuck wins he should fight Randy.
Young fighters coaching the show = young fighters not fighting for months and months. Better to give it to the old timers. Also, better to have coaches with a wealth of experience.
