You must be the guy I had a couple of chats with outside the hotel? Yeah I felt for your young bloke but he did at least meet Roy, I have to say I found him very humble and agreeable

interesting to read that Green picked up that Roy came in to the ring cold. Hmm, I did mention that myself on another board (thank you thank you far too kind). :)

Seriously, I think Roy was in a bit of holiday mode whilst down here. He wasn't the usual fast talking Roy. Green did all the talking. First time Roy has been out of the US as a pro and I think he just didn't flick the switch when it was time to fight. I don't think Roy warmed up properly, he stood very still in the ring whilst waiting for Green to enter...and he didn't look ready for battle.

That's taking nothing away from Green who was excellent for the time he needed to end it.

I don´t know if holiday is the right word Jet, but he did look cold in the ring.

yeah, its not like he was getting around town in an hawaiin shirt, thongs and sun glasses. but he constantly said how much he was enjoying being down here and didn't have a lot to say about the fight. it just wasn't the usual roy.

Yep I know what you mean mate, to me that came across as a bit of doubt in his mind. I think he knew Green was a different kettle of fish from Lacy, Sheika etc. He said as much himself.

He definitely came in prepared though. To risk the BHop return by not doing so, would be madness.

PWill in a great fight this weekend mate. I rate the bloke.

For sure. 6'2 and throws a million punches from all different angles. Fights long or in close equally as good. Great chin. Takes on anyone.

A lot to like about him mate....

If RJJ is done...I still have Pacquiao, Mayweather, and I still enjoy watching and routing for Holyfield even though he's old and washed up, I never abandon the fighters that I like...I watch their every fight until they retire.:good
