Khan is there because before the brutal embarrassing Prescott Ko he was put on his ass and hurt bad by fighters with 5 KO's in over 30 fights. He has no Chin and is protected. Go through his record and count the number of guys he has fought that have ABOVE a 50% KO rate. Same with Haye he has been wobbled and hurt by guys that could not bust a grape and former Super Middleweights. Now he has his 'running' style to keep that fragile Glass Jaw from getting shattered.
Cotto certainly. Ortiz is still up in the air. Of course, he also suffers from a shameful lack of heart too. In any event, I thought Maccarinellli packed it in after he got starched for like the third of fourth time. That would make him ineligible anyway.
Then why is Cotto there? He's been stopped against one guy who may have had illegal wraps and is a very hard puncher and the best puncher in the sport. The only good boxer Macca has been stopped against is Haye.

Yes, Khan deserves to be number 1 until he proves otherwise or someone with even weaker whiskers comes along. Khan was knocked down and wobbled badly by Willie Limond ! Limond is a genuine creampuff puncher.

Finally someone other than Zak and I that understand this. It is going to take a hell of a fragile Glass Jaw to unseat Khan. Roy Jones has an awful Glass Jaw and not even he can overtake Khan. Maybe on the horizon a Glass Jawed Joke can show up and take Khan's ranking but I doubt it.
