your right styles do make fights, but what has williams done to deserve the accolades hes recieved, i dont get it, his victory over right is one of the most overrated victorys on this site, lets talk pound for pound, mayweather defines pound for pound, he has pure boxing skill, that no matter what weight he fought he would still have, williams has height reach advantages are his primary weapons and his activity and stamina, he would lose half of his advantages if he went to super middle like he said he would, so i think its clear hes not pound for pound elite. I think both martinez and williams are amazing junior middles, and their styles are great for the sport, in terms of their weight classes neither is overrated , martinez is way underrated and alwasy has been, williams in ppound for pound ranks is way overrated, because i believe people have forgotten the true definition of pound for pound
Martinez is on a whole other level than foreman, he would knock him out or win a clear decision. If you cant see this then you are ignorant low IQ ESB poster. You have been Informed!!! By the good Dr.
I think Martinez performances vs Cintron and PW far, far, far outweighs Foreman's beating a washed up Santos. No comparison.
who the **** has cintron beaten???? His best win is a never was estrada, or a washed up teddy reid atsch dont say angulo, cuz angulo hasnt beaten anyone he is all hbo hype. Cmon, cintron has never beaten a top level guy. He got a paper title vacated by mayweather...
santos might be washed up, but he looked good in his fight against acline. At least hes a proven top level guy.....
atsch Is that all you can say? "Who has he beaten?" Is that how you judge a fighter, by their resume? Here's an idea, base it off what you SEE them do instead...
Ok genius, i base it off what i see them do against GOOD fighters. Anyone can look impressive against sub par comp. what matters is looking good against top comp. OFCOURSE i base a fight off who he has beaten........ Thats what being a legit champ is about :huh to be the best you gotta beat the best. I guess that dont matter anymore :nut
Spinks is one of those guys who is impossible to look good against just ask Taylor. I'd favor Martinez but a boring decision for Spinks would not be a shocker
Hey guys, fighter A beat a welterweight fighter (who has never beaten top welter comp), and beat a good light middle fighter (i say good, based off his light middle resume, which is good not great) Face it, you guys are rating him based off potential and not based of acomplishments... Yeah thats right i base a fighter off acomplishments......... If he had beaten a lot of good fighters or 1 great(think undisputed champ) fighter, then it would be a diff story... But 1 never was welter, and a good light middle dosent automatically make you "the man" without reasonable doubt atsch
that's right bud. that's why you gotta give sergio the credit for almost pulling it off vs. williams. hell of a fight
almost beating the most avoided fighter in the world in his prime and almost pulling the upset is a hell of an accomplishment.
tell me this guys, did quintatina become number 1 ww, and top p4p when he beat williams??? he beat "the most avoided guy" :yep
