Paul Williams Chin Must Now be Considered Questionable

I don't see why it's considered so ridiculous to question Williams' chin. I opened a similar thread last night to the same sort of response. The man hasn't fought many in the way of huge punching fighters yet despite being dropped and hurt by Martinez - with a 50% KO record and most of said stoppages coming against guys with AWFUL records - it's considered sacrilege to even CONSIDER the POSSIBILITY that Williams might have a chin which won't hold up to scrutiny from heavier hitters. I despair. It's as though questioning could only begin if he were stopped with a minute, which would only lead to "he was caught cold...further evidence required before his chin can be seriously pondered!".

 

I can't wait till Pav taps that chin!!

 

Your out of your mind!!!! Martinez is know for speed and foot work but also can punch!!! The shot that PW took in the first round 90% of boxers would not even get up from yet he weatherd it and was the aggressor in the very next round!!!

You dear mentioned Pavlik when Pavlik has been rocked, hurt, dropped in multple fights!!!

PW showed heart and courage like no other out there!!

PS: If Pavlik was hit with the same shots PW was hit with KP would been in a morgue right now!!!

 

Pavlik will hit Williams in the face repeatedly until Williams falls down and can't get back up. A pre-fight analysis need be no more complicated than that.

wow...now PW has a bad chin...I have seen it all on ESB...he has been hurt exactly once in his career

 

so if u think williams chin should not be questioned u r a nithugger...he has never been ko'd and got hit flush MANY times...any human can be KO'd and especially knocked down u need to learn the sport:deal

People are overreacting now...Paul has a decent chin...it's not Randy Tex cobb, but it's not bad. he just got tested by a guy who is a very tough and underrated fighter. Most on this forum who have seen Sergio Martinez fight knew that it was going to be a long night for the punisher. No shame in that.
