And to answer your rhetorical question. Yes, he has athsma, but it is definentally in check. Watch him climb back up this next year.

 

I think with the state of this division Shannon has a good chance against a lot of the guys ,the one he will have the toughest time with would be Vitali....i dont see him beating Vitali...I can see him landing a lucky shot on Wlad though,and i can see him stopping Haye.

 

Vitali could not take a punch from Briggs. I see more broken ribs commin.

 

Not necessarily disagreeing, but how long did it take Shannon to land flush on Liakhovich, who's not one tenth the defensive operator Vitali is? :huh Until about the 12th, when Sergei was totally gassed out, right? Does Vitali ever gas out?

 

Briggs is still 20lbs away from a shape that will enable him to fight for a return to contender status, he is a gatekeeper right now.

If he gets enough attention to himself, like Haye did, he may land a fight with the Klitchkos, but that's a fight he can't win at this point.

 

I'll say this - Briggs could do the division a favor and separate Haye from his senses, quite easily. That's one circumstance where Shannon getting himself a title wouldn't displease me in the least bit. Judging by his last interview, he's also toned down the self-aggrandizing a bit, so maybe he's not quite the heel he once was...

 

You all know as well as I do that Viteli is on his way out of the circuit. Yes, Wlad is a tough one but he will see Shannon in the ring eventually. And the only real reason that most of you MAY dis-like him is because of his attitude. But His attitude isn't bad, he is just one of a kind and wont conform to what most boxers are or think they need to conform to. He is a man with his own style and personality. A very nice man at that. (unless you **** him off).
