David Tua vs. Chris Arreola

I totally agree about the selection of seldon as his next opponent. That said, Kevin Johnson got a title shot off of beating seldon plus 2 other guys (not in the top 20). Also, remember briggs and golota got ttile shots off of very suspect opposition due to name recognition and being perceived as capable of brining excitement and money. So maybe Tua's team ain't all that stupid. Bad for fans but maybe good for an easy route to a big fight

He's shaking free of his Maori TV contract by doing three quick fights back-to-back-to-back in the span of 85 days in early 2010. Seldon, then Friday Ahunanya in NZ, then TBA in Hawaii. After that he's free and clear to fry bigger fish as soon as summer! :happy

For the last time Arreola is Garbage, Tua is finished but Arreola just plain sucks.

 

You are right about one thing Tua is finished thats why he doesnt fight anyone half decent Seldonatsch Seldon had a glass jaw in his prime,this is just a set up for Tua.

I think Arreola has to tighten up his defense and if he dont want to get rid of Electric he should at least bring an experienced assistant.
Besides that I dissagree with you. I think Chris could probably beat any one outside of the Klit bros and Maybe Chambers. Theres probably a couple guys style wise that might give him trouble like Tony Thompson but I see him Beating Haye,chaqeauv,Valeuv and a fight with Povetkin would be intresting. Bottom line he is a legit top 5 Hwt.

Well actually im not kidding,and Ring Magazine pretty much agrees with me too who has him 6. I stick by what i said earlier,and how the hell are you gonna but Briggs in there,because he knocked a bum out last week that made Minto look like Marciano?

Your grade rankings are off! The talent pool in the division is not that great of a gap,Arreola and and Old Ruizand Past it Tua,are in the same league as those other guys, do you actually believe Chageuv,Valuev(who got agift over Holy,Ruiz) Unproven Haye are a full level above the others.:nono

 

yeah i know...take a look at his record since the 2nd rahman fight..the guy has fought no one in 6 or 7 years...no one as in no one ranked in the top 25. cameron was ranked 50 by boxrec. yeah, tua should put a guy like that to sleep. considering the guys cameron fought werent in top 100. i wouldnt bet on tua in a million years against a ranked guy.....

 

OK, so Tua knocks out Seldon early. Stops Friday late. Then he fights TBA in Honolulu on May 1st on his path to a belt. Who do you think he should fight that would/could put him in line for a title fight?

Arreola is an overrated garbage heavyweight, he has no defense, his technique and skills sucks. All he has is chin and power and that won't be enough to beat Tua.

 

Did you watch his last fight against Brian Minto? He was getting tagged repeatedly against Brian Minto, his punches are telegraphed, he's asking to get koed if he fights Tua. Arreola is garbage.

 

Yeah, he would definitely lose to guys like Dimitrenko. Sascha went down against journeymen and got destroyed by Chambers. Even a non-puncher like Eddie had him on the floor. Or maybe Chagaev, who was wobbling in his fight with Drumond, did not even land a single punch against Wlad...?

You must really hate Arreola.
