Toney: 'I want Arreola ASAP!'

    As shot as Toney might be, I think he would beat Arreola. Because Arreola is tailor-made for James. During the last years, Toney had problems with guys that moved too much - guys like Fres Oquendo and Danny Batchelder. Even Sam Peter realized that and changed his game plan accordingly for their rematch. But Toney can still take these guys apart on the inside, and Arreola would come to him and stand before him all night long, where James can counter him at will.

    Maybe. But, it doesn't look like Goossen wants the fight. In fact, it is obvious now that Goossen has no plan for James Toney at all.Toney fought a journeyman in an off tv bout 3 months ago. What has Goossen done since that fight?

    I have just read that this idiot Goossen tries to put BHOP in there with Paul Williams. Hopkins should be fighting James Toney. Goossen ain't doing **** for Toney anymore these days.It is normal James is now becoming increasingly frustrated.

    Toney is unhappy with his promoter. And rightly so, they ain't doing **** for him these days. After all Toney is still ranked in the top 12 with most organizations, deserving or undeserving. It shouldn't be so difficult to give the man a fight, especially since Dan has 3-4 HWs in his stable who could do as possible opponents (Manny Quezeda, Chris Arreola, Tony Thompson, Malik Scott...).

    I'm starting to understand why Toney left Goossen some months ago and wanted to start his own promotional company. But I don't understand why he returned to Goossen now.

    '09 Toney would get knocked out.
    Never believed in dudes HW run, His lack of HW power makes him average.
    (Anything below 200lbs, the lower the weight the better he was)

    Toney made a mistake by returning to Goossen .Toney realizes now that Goossen has been unwilling or unable to come up with any sort of a plan en route to world title fight.

    The reason Toney returned to him is because Goossen did a good job until the Rahman II fight.Then Goossen started to f**k with things up...

    even at other weights he fought inconsistently, but with Arreola, Toney should win by decision.

    Toney would open up a can of whoop ASS on that fat bum.

    Toney is a fat **** himself, but a fat **** with a good portion of skill and years and years of experience in the game.

    Arreola will get dogged.
