He's all flash and no substance. Bet on it. He's a homeless version of Guzman.

I think Gamboa has probably beaten better opposition than Guzman has other than Soto.

I think Gamboa will be alot like Jones. Very good fighter because of his speed and reflexes right now but once they are gone his technique will be his fall.

    Biggest hypejobs,eh!

    You are kidding ,arent you!

He has been bloody toughly matched up to now.He has beaten whoever was put in front of him.He has passed all tests with flying colours.
He has PROVEN that he is destined for great things. How the hell can you say that he is one of the biggest hypejobs of the decade ??? Really beyond me!
You probably dislike him and his style,or his nationality,or.......... ..........I guess.
Hypejob?? Pah! He for sure will find one day his match in the ring.He takes a lot of risks, but I for one truly enjoy watching his very entertaining fights.
Whats more he is one of the truly outstanding fighters in today's pro game!

    HypeJob? :bart Don't think so!!!

My friend, let's say that you probably don't like Gamboa for him being a " Cuban Olympic Gold Medalist ", because probably you are so sick and tired of these " Cubanos " beating up everyone in the amateurs and now they are also invading the pros! Well, they are here now and it's a fact that every boxing fan has to learn to deal with it. No more amateurs for the Cubans, now they are also " beating up " everyone in the pros too.

    Mr. Gamboa's great accomplishments...

    * 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist ( Not many achieve this, not even Mayweather )
    * 4 Times Cuban National Champ ( almost as hard as an Olympic Gold )
    * 3 Times World Amateur Champ ( the same as an Olympic )

In the pros he has " annhiliated " absolutely every boxer in his way and since his debut he has been fighting " all winning competition " with all winning records and not a single bum...Not even the greatest boxers of our time have done this ( Check Mayweather, Chavez, DLH, Hopkins, Tyson, Holyfield, Jones Jr, Trinidad, Morales, Pacquiao etc ) and you will see that they all fought " bums " in their first 20, 30, 40, and even 50 fights!!!

At 16-0, he is already WBA Champion, something that not even Mayweather did...

His speed is second to none, and his power devastating. What more do you want? :think

definitely agree and look how far that took jones. gamboa has INCREDIBLE natural talent. there's no hype there. what he does with it is a different story but he has all the gifts needed to go somewhere.

I was stretching a little obviously but Guzman really has not faced very tough opposition. Gamboa should overtake him soon.

I think that's the plan. If so, it'll be one hell of a card.
