Excellent signing for them. Their roster is getting deeper and deeper. They're doing an excellent job of gathering up the significant amount of talent outside the UFC into one place. It's great to have a bit of competition!
Sadly, there will never be another Pride. No organization is going to put as much money into putting so much spectacle into their shows as Pride did. It was a time that was golden while it lasted but it's gone forever. At least Strikeforce is offering an alternative to UFC.
Wow. Strikeforce are becoming a HUGE force to be reckoned with. Hendo at 185 has Shields, Miller, Le, Diaz, Shamrock, Lawler, Manhoef etc Good fighters to contend with. Hendo at 205 vs Mousasi is a super fight. Le and Mousasi are thinking about leaving. Deliver them Hendo and they will be convinced to stay. Good on Strikeforce. MMA is too big. UFC will not sign everyone. They are giving up their monopoly. They can't own everything. Strikeforce is needed. If they didn't exist we might not have Fedor, Mousasi, Le, Shields, Henderson etc Competition can be healthy.
I want to see a Strikeforce Vs DREAM NYE card in Japan with the K1 on the bill at Saitama Dome. Can you imagine how sick that would be? Crazy thing is that is very much a big possibility in years to come.
Good for him.. ufc doesn't want to pay him the money he wants so go to strikeforce and try to win another title.
I'm a big Hendo fan, so this is good news. Strikeforce's roster is pretty thin compared to the UFC's (though it's getting better), but they put on some pretty good cards. There are a few superfights floating around, including Hendo-Mousasi.
Henderson is a turncoat. This is a guy who thinks he is bigger than the sport, and he don't need to obey the rules inside the octagon.
