At least Johnson is making this fun to watch! Can't wait for the fight -- Vitali will surely put the hurt on this guy. Nothing wrong with an opponent trying to be colourful before a fight. Anybody willing to get in the ring with VK has my respect.

 

The doctor stopped the fight before Lewis could stop VK...so you can't really say he couldnt do it.

I get the feather fist comedy its just not true...True KJ is not a power puncher but neither is VK... VK get knockout through an accumulation of punches...Likewise if Johson can stay out the way enough and get VK tired he can knock VK out...

Will that happen probably not...but guys on here act like its impossible...and its not. While it lasts I believe this fight will be what people could never believe...now if KJ gets sloppy then we all know the outcome...

I said that the thought that Johnson could do what Lewis and Sanders failed to is absurd.

Bold - Yes you can say he couldn't do it, as you just did, because he couldn't in fact do it. He threw everything he had at Vitali and Vitali took it. You're trying to use hypothetical scenarios when the fact is all you can go by is evidence. They fought for 6 rounds, Lennox tried his best but was unable to really even hurt Vitali, forget about stopping/KOing him.

I admitted that Lewis won. But if i was going to use the same imaginary bull**** as you i could just as easily say that had the fight continued, Vitali would have decapitated Lewis. Or i could say that FanMan would have flew into the ring again like Bowe-Holyfield only this time brandishing a knife & he would have stabbed Lewis in the leg with it. Had the fight continued it could have happened, right?

Vitali has never been off his feet in his Pro career, this offers validity to my opinion, yours is completely unfounded.

 

Lewis nose was broken. Vitali staggered Lewis, Lewis could not hurt Vitali and Vitali was winning on the cards. Max Kellerman was sitting right behind Lewis' corner, he said that he had never seen Lewis flop down on his stool like that. Lewis was out of it, Vitali would have knocked Lewis out. Lewis promised Vitali are rematch, but Lewis lied, he quit boxing rather than fight Vitali again. I guess Lewis' broken nose did not feel so good and Lewis knew he would have been knocked out if the fight had continued for one more round. Angelo Dundee said that Vitali was cheatd out of the title that night, had he was correct.

 

Another stoppage victory for Vitali.

Johnson will do what all of Vitali's opponents do. Talk themselves in believing they can win,

Then he'll get in the ring, get surprised at how difficult Vitali is to hit clean. Then get more surprised when he gets hit and realize Vitali hits like a anvil just throwing arm punches.

Combined with the fact that Vitali, is bigger, stronger, more athletic, and a better ring general, Johnson will be ****ed.

After that, its all just a matter time till the KO/TKO

How bad do you think it would have gotten if Lewis had landed a few more big shots on it?

Now dont get me wrong,Vitali fought a great fight and may well have won it,if the fight had gone on,but saying he was "robbed" is going way too far.

It was a fair stoppage. Ive seen cuts that didnt look as bad as Vitalis cause a fight to be stopped.

 

What I found crazy about that was this:

Vitali went out of his way to be gentlemanly about Arreolas efforts,saying how tough he was and how great his heart was etc.
He could have just came out and said "It was an easy fight,the guy barely landed a punch on me all night,and I gave him a good solid beating" and he would have been telling the truth.He didn't,hes too much of a nice guy to do that.


What does Arreola do? Starts talking about how Vitali "ran" and how he was "making woman gentures"!.

Woman gestures??? This from a guy who broke down crying like a little girl after the fight ended!!
