How did everyone come to the conclusion that Floyd's chin is as weak as hotton's and as shaky as cotto's ? Everyone is assuming if pac land he going to KO floyd..:huh

Zab, Corrales, Hatton, Gatti and Corley all managed to hit Floyd Square at some point and yet he still standing..

So just how did Floyd get the rep for having a bad chin?

everyone of those guys I mention has a respectable Swat , especially Zab, and Gatti which on any given day they can KO just about anyone at 140 and 147..

Some people simply assumed Floyd was more like Roy Jones.

Lots of skill, great defense, weak chin.

Floyd did take a few flush shots from De La Hoya and didn't buckle.

The very few times whenever someone landed flush on Floyd (Hatton,Judah, and Corley) his legs become spaghetti.

Im not saying his chin is weak, but there is no indication either that his chin is sturdy either.

In the Corley fight he was wobbled but in Hatton or Judah he was never hurt. You can watch the fights all day long and pick portions where those two opponents landed on Floyd but never dazed him a bit. Re-watch the fight. Also, I have never seen Floyd's legs become "spaghetti". Buckle? Yes but like a Judah or Cotto? Never.

I don't think Gatti landed on mayweather. Hatton landed a leaping jab. nothing serious from those two. Mayweather's chin is great but he doesn't like to get hit at all so it makes it seem like is weak, like he is hiding something.

Floyd has a damn good chin, he has never been wobbled, never tasted the canvas, even shane mosley who has a all time great chin made of iron tasted the canvas at the hands of the viper. its clear as day that Floyd haters are pinoys who have a better chance at finding a bus full of money than becoming knowledgeable boxing fans,

You must have been referring to this thread:

Note that the TS said if Pac manages to land a full-blooded shot on Floyd's chin, will he KO Floyd?

Do you think Floyd will simply walk on that punch?

This most i saw floyd bothered by a punch, he was still completely aware, indicates that he takes a good punch. The most i saw was a stun/stumble.

He believes in hitting without getting hit aka the sweet science maybe not fan pleasing but on the other hand he will have his witts and speech intact once he retrires for good. With a loss or losses on his record. Nobody is invinceable eventually father time will catch up with you and one guy got your number.
