What the **** has Bute done my lord! I would find it hard to restrain myself listening to some stupid mother****er say Bute deserves to be mentioned in the same breath with the winner of the super six! I think we would have to duke it out cause I would antagonize that mother****er till he attacked me just to beat em down!

After scouting Bute for a while , its very easy to come up with this conclusion. I favor Ward over Bute.

Your only saying this because he got KO with a body shot, look at him against someone else and you'll change opinion as most ESB posters do. One day, the guys a bum, the other week he's a champ cause he beat the crap out of a guy but some say the guy he beat is a Bum, and the week after he's a bum again cause he lost to an other guy. Listening to most posters, all fighters are Bums or C level fighters....

When Ward will loose his fight (because all great fighters loose at least one fight IMO) look at how many people are gonna tell that he was exposed and is a bum. Same with Bute and the same just happened to Kessler

The week before the Ward-Kessler fight, everyone was on Kesslers bandwaggon. He lost to an incredible fighter IMO in Andre Ward, and he is now called a Bum or exposed. Bute got KOed in his last fight with Andrade but managed to win the fight, and lots of posters we're refering that he would get KO again, BUT he's the one who KO Andrade. Now Andrade is finished and is a C+ level fighter. Put him in the ring with Froch, who would win? I would favor Andrade. Put him with Taylor, who would win? I would favor Andrade. Put him with Green and who would win? I would still favor Andrade. I think he really gets underestimated because he lost to two excellent fighters

I like Ward in this one ..How many more times do I have to tell people SOG is the truth ..Bute is a beast dont get me wrong but Andrade is no slickster !

He's the closest thing to Margarito at super middle .Ward is 3 dimesnional !

Great fight ..I would say a pickem fight right now ..Bute should really have been in this tourey though that would be the quickest way to find out who would win between the 2 ..

Bute's attributes look like they'd be pretty effective at nullifying Ward's strength's.

Bute doesn't have problems dealing with lateral movement and has more to offer Ward than Ward does him in regards to footwork. He isn't Kessler.

Ward's clinching and headbutting won't be nearly as effective due to Bute's footwork, southpaw stance and punch arsenal. He's very effective with left uppercuts and bodyshots when guys try lunging in.

He will land on Ward, has proven that he's a big puncher (to me at least) and Wards chin still isn't top notch.

Ward isn't a big puncher and Bute's proved his chin vs Andrade, Zuniga, Bika & Berrio.

Their handspeed is at least equal and i think Bute actually has the advantage in that department.

Ward has power for his division. He wouldn't exactly be classified as a knock-out artist, but for his style of boxing, it's very good power. He's got great lateral movement, speed, footwork, and smarts. He can mix things up which is what a lot of those other guys like Kessler, Abraham, Taylor, and Bute don't do. Ward may stick his head a little bit too far out which welcomes a punch, but with more experience he can remedy this problem. Otherwise he's a complete boxer, and a future top 10 pfp fighter, if not already.

Bute is more of a technical boxer, and prefers to counterattack. He's more of a schooled boxer than a street smart boxer like Ward. He'll need a couple more years of experience before going up against a street savvy style fighter like Ward who will take him in deep water and break him down, but I see a lot of talent in Bute, but it's just unpolished right now. Andrade is a good fighter, but should not have given Bute the problems that he had, if Bute is truly ready for Ward. Bute will also have to pick up his work rate and punch rate also. Ward is a busy fighter from round 1 to 12, and will press Bute, and make him walk backwards.

Power - The fact that he was able to essentially land at will on Kessler and never seriously hurt him plus if it weren't for the headbutts Kesslers face didn't look that bad demonstrates that no, he doesn't have power.

And Bute doesn't like or has problems while fighting backing up? I think you may have him confused with Edison Miranda.

The main point that i gathered from your post was that Ward's "street smarts" will win him the fight.

Your description of Bute amounted to saying he's "unpolished" and can't deal with "street smarts" that Ward has.

I didn't find your post very insightful or convincing.

Even in their rematch, Bute was having problems with Andrade, and I think we all can agree that Andrade is no Ward, and therefore Bute is not fully polished yet. Ward is not a knock-out artist as I've mentioned before, but he does have power, and he lands a lot of punches. Ward stopped Kessler in their fight (TKO), and hurt him aside from the headbutts.
