Why would they ask Bruno if he would be more popular if he was white? He couldnt get anymore popular ffs

In fact wouldnt Bruno kinda prove the point that its not a race thing as to why Khan aint liked?

 

That was brilliant (the final chapter in Ringside) - in fact I wished I hadnt read that before I started Mitchell's - Jacobs Beach - as it really took the shine of the book. Kimball is my favourite boxing writer - always a great read and educational too.

 

To be fair haven't read Samuel much since he went to the Mail, my loyalty doesn't run that far (and agree if he doesnt like boxing shouldnt write about it). Did love Kimball's Four Kings book. Have to agree to disagree about Hayward. Just as bad as Williams for me. Remember him comparing Sandy Lyle not completing his round in the Open a couple of years ago to Roberto Duran's no mas against Sugar Ray Leonard. One of laziest comparisons I've ever read.

 

Na the whole Khan TV deal is what is a major hating point , I saw him box live but going to box office and holding fans to ransom like that for average fights is just wrong people shell out a lot of money for their licenses and subscriptions as it is, when ever I see a SBO add I think **** sky and **** Khan its not as if its elite level stuff

 

These journalists remind me of those 3 teenagers that lured Tatiana the tiger out of her San Francisco zoo home, provoking her to leap over a 13 ft high wall (almost impossible feat), kill one of the individuals, injure the other two and then be shot and killed by the police. All while the two provoking *******s who survived the attack with minor injuries received $900,000 compensation.
