Hopkins needs to go check an atlas. Australia ain't Europe, Him and Jones were gonna make a lot of money Pre Green and he's seen it go up in smoke and he had a plan to fight Jones at Cruiser then go to Heavyweight now he will have to re evaluate if and hopefully when Jones hangs em up.
Jones needs to retire & a bit quick imo! His punch resistance has gone, his reflexes are clearly not what they were four years ago, let alone when he was at his peak! For a fighter who replied so much on speed, reflexes, movement, etc, once those attributes have eroded, the last thing you need is to have dodgy whiskers because Roy can no longer get out of the way of the big shots coming at him! Hopkins would & should stop him if they do still faced each other! No way should he have a rematch with Green, who proved too strong for Roy! Jones is financially secure & probably has other interests other than Boxing, although I understand he's a fighter! He should retire & go shoot some hoops!

Big Hopkins fan, but if he fights roy, that would tarnish his career for ever. starting to lose more respect to hopkins, he is talking like he wants roy as a big pay deal even after the defeat, instead of fighting dawson, either fight the best or step aside and let the young up and coming fighters challenge dawson
If hopkins fights roy then he must start slipping down the P4P rankings. His last 7 fights he has gone 4 wins 3 losses. And the 4 wins include Ornelas (mediocre opponent) Wright and Pavlik (smaller fighters) and old man Tarver. Add old man Jones onto that list as well? How the **** can anyone justify keeping Bhop nailed to the number 3 or 4 P4P ranking in the world? If that fight happens in mid 2010 that will be 5 years where Bhop has done good but not great. Now if he was to take Dawson to school, that would be a serious accomplishment, and the kind that would justify him staying way up the top of the P4P rankings.
