It was meant to be Chavez Jnr and Duddy- Arum was even qouted as saying he would like to make that fight-but that looks less likely now- would Macklin be a big enough draw over there?

Pavlik vs Duddy would not be pretty. It's tough watching him take full blooded shots from average fighters so this would be very uncomfortable viewing for me.

If it happens, i just hope he gets paid well. Very well.

duddy would be insane to fight pavlik imo unless the money is so good that it doesnt matter if he cant fight again because although pavlik has slipped in reputation, hes still a guy that could hurt duddy very badly.

he should go after sturm or sylvester, the latter of which is a winnable fight for duddy if he boxes right. then lee or macklin then maybe fight pavlik. all the same this is like 100 to 1 to happen

Pavlik might end Duddys career if the two were to meet. The cuts he got agains Walid Smitchet (sp?) were a blessing in disguise as it saved him from having his face caved in by Pavlik. The problem is that Duddy wouldn't just lay down like Gary Lockett. Duddy would make Pavlik beat him to a pulp on the way to a gruesome 5th or 6th round stoppage. I like to support all our lads but we all know full well he isn't able for Pavlik

not wrong with the stopage imo Moorser. But all 3 Hylands need to stop ****in around and put their balls on the line - that is if they are after after glory or money!!!!! no shame in either, but i will only support one route!

What ever happened to Duddys plan on dropping down a weight? I remember 1 of his many trainers saying that they would be looking at this.

After Macklin floored the guy in Rd.2 I was ready to annoint him as the next middleweight champion of the world. However the fight goin 10 rds. left me a little more cautious-beatin Pavlik's gonna be a hell of an ask.Would certainly be a good action fight.
As for Chavez jnr ban-after his last performance there isnt much to be gained from beating him anyway. They should put Duddy in with a real borderline world class fighter and then get him Yuri Foreman. Its incredible that Duddy still has'nt contested a really meaningful fight and Campas is the best fighter he's beaten.Obviously he has to take the blame for blowin the Pavlik fight but he must be the most protected fighter around(Outside JC Chavez jnr.of course.)

I dont think duddy can make 154 anymore, well if chavez jnr cant make it without drugs then i doubt duddy can, + duddy looked rather chunky and filled out in his last outing against munoz. You never know arum might throw the dog a bone and give duddy the fight against pavlik because we all know duddy aint beating anyone in the top 10 at 160lbs at the moment so how is he going to make himself mandatory beating bums like he is at the moment..... at 30 years of age now it would be a terrible shame if he didnt get a payday....

I'd argue that Eastman is his biggest win and his best performance.
Although some on here believe Eastman won that, I do however strongly disagree.

Even if Duddy could make 154 Foreman is all wrong for him imo.
He'd have John walking onto his punches all night, without Duddy getting near him. Foreman's footspeed and footwork is fantastic and is the main reason James Moore looked so amateurish against him.

Duddy wouldn't quite take the hammering Moore did, but I wouldn't give him much chance.

Its hard to pick a good level opponent that Duddy can beat. Junior would have been a noticable scalp as far as exposure goes but hes still a **** fighter.

I mean who do you match him with? I doubt he'd beat Darren Barker. Rubio maybe but I'm not sure he beats him either
