Muhammed Ali!!! I can't believe that this can be argued!!!!!!!

 

Whilst I agree that people did indeed buy tickets to watch Ali lose (Usually in the early part of his career?) and his opinions were often very controversial, few could argue that the man had the most profound effect of any boxer on the sport of boxing, and sport in general (Hence his being awarded The Sports Person Of The Century accolade). Ray Leonard brought plenty of charisma to the sport and De La Hoya is another well worthy of mention. Of course there are probably several "Old timers" who may have been charismatic (Ray Robinson? Joe Louis?) but I honestly believe that Ali was in a class of his own!

ODLH has charisma? the guy has the personality of a cabbage and is some what annoying and contradicting himself everytime he does a new promotion for a fight.
lets be real. ODLH got where he was as PPV king because he was a good looking mexican american gold medalist with a good background story.
