hmmm..juss checked boxrec and I see he fought Zab and Baldomir who were at the WW level for a while before Floyd fought both of them......Floyd was at 130, 135, and 140 while Carlos was at 147...Floyd was at 140 while Zab was already at 147:deal

Have you seen this man work out ? If you did then you know Floyd can pretty much defend like that all night.. Question is can pac attack mis punches, and sustain an attack as intense in the second half of the fight .. if the answer is no, then pac is getting worked in the champion rounds.

Floyd works on blocking and throwing thousands of punches all in the same sequence and they do that working on footwork, head and shoulder movments, awareness, accurracy.

Floyd also fought Sharmba Mitchel (who is a welterweight), Zab Judah, Carlos Baldomir, Ricky Hatton (former welterweight champion) ... 4-0 2KO vs welterweights ... and he has fought all current former champions since moving up to the welterweight division. He also has fought 2 hall of famers, 3 former/current linear champions, and won the recognized undisputed welterweight championship and there hasn't been a champion in the division since he vacated the title.

One important stat ... Floyd is comfortable at any part of the ring, fighting forwards, backwards, and giving angles.

The Cotto fight showed that Pac is suspect fighting backwards ...

Mayweather will win, likely on pts but possible stoppage.

If Pac went through the amateur ranks, he'd probably be undefeated as a pro.

Floyd by Decision in a very close competitve fight where he's the worse for wear, but did enough round by round to out point the Pinoy phenom. BUT.....if the fight ends early....the winner wil be PAC!

PBF is simply too much skill for Pac to deal with. For the first time Pac will be in with a guy who's as good of an athlete as he is a guy who's as fast as he not only that but a guy who is a better boxer was well. Pac will be frustrated by PBF's speed, defense and counter-punching he won't be able to solve the PBF puzzle and will be picked apart and made to look average by the mid rounds. PBF by wide UD.:deal

Floyd tough time in 1st 4 makes adjustments and wins down the stretch. Marquez countered him all day and hurt him and cut him. Floyd is a way better counter puncher and adapter also Floyd hits way harder than Marquez.

The fights early in his career, the wars he's been in and his last fight with Cotto took a lot out of him.
