In addition to Khan, Berto could very well be a great choice for sparring, and I imagine Berto wouldn't mind too much either. Throw in Malignaggi and Forbes and they have the dream team of sparring.

The berto mosley fight is the 30th isnt it?

And then the pac pbf fight is the 15th of march. So that doesnt leave very much time for berto and they are assuming he doesnt get injured in the Mosley fight.

Pac's sparring partners would all KO Floyd inside 10.

the only person who could imitate mayweathers style with any kind of success would have to be hopkins (ring generalship wise), and I doubt Roach would take any risks pitting Pac against a LHW. Therefore the only bases he can cover are speed, and it seems he'd have that nailed with Khan and Berto. Correlating Khan's performance with that of Mayweathers, if we deduct approximately 50% of pac's successfully landed punches, that might just give a decent imitation as to what kinda punch ratio we can expect to see Pac land.

I know I might get slated for mentioning Khan in the same line as Mayweather, but my point is only to correlate the success of punches landed/caught by Pac. Doubt anything can prepare Pac for the precision and exposure Mayweather brings to the table, though he took some monsterous punches from Cotto and looked unphased, lets hope he brings his chin with him against Mayweather and does the business on him!

Well with this post, I guess Pac is going to lose because he doesn't know what the hell PBF is going to bring. They are just concerned about speed and Berto and especially Khan will help. Pac is just going to bring the nonstop offence to pressure PBF to actually fight. This is no walk in the park for PBF. If he gets hit flush by Pac, it could change everything. Berto might not be available after the war that he is going into with Mosley. Win or lose, he is going to be unavailable. Paulie could have helped also.

Berto would be good for speed.
And I am sure Khan already spars with Pac. Khan is about the right build is he not?

    Fitzgerald,
When is the last time you see Floyd aggressive? He didn't even KO WMM. Who was there to be KO'd. Becuase he wouldn't put the pressure on and do it.
Even IF Roach didn't prepare for Floyd to come forward, it wouldn't matter because Pac is used to that and it would make it easier for him. Which is my biggest gripe about the fight. I want a fight like the Williams/Martinez fight. One man have lost but both were winners because of how they fought. So all I hope is the Floyd mans up and makes it a fight and not a running match.

Look at his fights, particularly from the last 5 years, Roach already knows what Floyd is going to bring to the table, counter pot shots, laying on the ropes, running around and making opponents follow him, low punch output, a lead right hand then goes immediately to a clinch, his arms up in an attempt to push a guy off him when they are on the offensive up close. Oh yeah, and power you can walk right through lol. Roach isnt going to analyze his habits, hes going to analyze any weakness and concentrate on that.

It seems ur right, and that's a big mistake. He will be training to hit offensive fighters, not defensive fighters.

U beat me to it, along with Guzman. Only problem is, both fighters are trained by Mayweather Sr and Jeff Maweather.

This shows u don't watch Mayweather. Mayweather was the aggressor against Corley, Mitchell and Judah. All slick southpaws, do ur home.

You don't have to be aggressive to get knockouts or stoppages ... add to that Pac shouldn't focus on immulating a particular style.

I'm sure that Floyd isn't going to be sparring Gerry Penalosa or Z Gorrez ... Bernabe Conception ...

We never know who Floyd is sparring ... we might get one but not all of them ...
