its HW anyone can KO anyone. But to say what happened in 1 fight shows what would happen in a different fight is a stretch IMO

    Every fight is different

Yeah I dont really how anyone can defend this guy. Maybe he'll come up with something in the future. Maybe he'll say hes going to box and move for 12 rounds and then go for the knockout. :yep

It is not a stretch it is an extrapolation and a reasonable one. I did not say HAYE would win based on the Valuev fight only that he had the power to hurt Wlad.

It's not really difficult to understand, is it?

He was getting ass raped in negotiations and decided to go off, win him a world title, make a good purse and then resume calling out the Klitschkos again.

What are the Klits gonna do now? Keep fighting the Johnsons, Ibragimovs & Thompsons of the world?

Or sign up to fight the only other major belt holder who pulls huge numbers and also happens to call them out & talk **** about them constantly?

As far as I can see, Haye has got himself into a very good position now and the Klits need to sit down at the table and thrash out a much better offer to get this fight made.

I doubt Matt Skelton had the power to KO any top ten ranked HW so I dont believe the myth that if you are heavy then you have the power to knock everyone out.

Why would Haye lie about how unreasonable the demands were by Klits people?

to save face. He lied. I was in the room during some of the talks. Haye got what he wanted with the 3 fight deal. Haye used the contracts as a way to put blame on the other side since he backed out
    remember this :

"British heavyweight boxer David Haye could fight both Klitschko brothers as part of a sensational two-for-one contract being thrashed out by lawyers. Speaking to Setanta Sports News Haye admitted that the two-for-one contract was “being talked about”. He said:

“To be number one in the world, to be the undisputed champion, I feel I’ve got to beat both of them anyway. That’s not a problem. I want to fight both of them. It’s down to the lawyers now.”

    the deal was
    1. Wlad Haye
    2. Wlad Haye rematch if Haye won...just like Valuev has the option
    3. Vitali Haye if Haye won again

    its what Haye asked for

Trying to make this sound like a great deal for Haye.

Anyway, that was for the first fight (remember) and that one's bad enough, so I can only imagine how bad the next offer was after Haye had apparently enraged Wlad by offering him a postponement.

    This.
It's a win win situation for the Klits. If Haye doesn't agree to their future demands he will be labelled a ducker cause of he's past record with them and everybody can go on their own circle jerk of defenses for lesser purses. Haye has already said many times he wants to retire before he's 30 so will be more open to negotiations. Something has gone on at the negotiation table between the 2 camps before that has me worried these fights may never happen unless the Klits are realistic about Hayes commercial value. Adam Booth is extremely pissed at the Klits. Extremely pissed. Haye just wants to fight.

Either way, I dont see alot in Haye, more mouth than substance. I cant see him getting past either Klitschko myself. In fact hes going to have his hands full with Ruiz's ugly style.

Agree 100% :deal David Gaye should start winning with his fists and not his big mouth.

“In between training sessions, I’ll often watch DVDs of King Kong, Godzilla or Frankenstein, just to keep my mind on the task in hand and remind myself of the magnitude of the challenge,”

“The more you watch regular human beings getting terrorised by over-sized monsters, the more you can accept this fight with Valuev as normality.''
